I wanted to look into Swahili Proverbs because I thought I could use some of my own images and sources from Tanzania to inspire me, the main reason I chose to look at this topic was because I wanted to try and create some similar work to my favourite designer, Sarah Markes.  She has published a book called 'Street Level' it's a collection of drawings and creative writings inspired by Dar es Salaam.
